Rosso Il Frate Castello Degli Angeli
Ruby red colour, intense aroma with notes of berries, vanilla and spices. Dry, structured taste, complex with ripe tannins, notes of red fruit and a spicy and balsamic finish.
Variety: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, 50% Syrah, Petit Verdot, Mourvedre, Cabernet Franc
The fermentation of the single varieties is conducted in open French oak tonneaux, the maceration lasts 15-20 days. The wine is aged for at least 36 months, then it is cut (assembly of the different varieties) in steel tanks and finally bottled.
The wine project Castello degli Angeli was born in 1996 with the aim of producing wines of longevity and excellence, characterized by terraces and dry walls: agricultural arrangement in line with the steep slopes (45%) and density up to 11,000 plants per hectare. Traditional methods of cultivation, exclusively manual processing and artisanal production, Castello degli Angeli wines express a holistic vision through Man and Terroir.
