Franciacorta DOCG Brut Vintage Monzio Compagnoni
Straw yellow wine with a slight hint of green, abundant foam and extremely fine perlage. The fresh and acidic sensations are balanced by a soft vanilla hint and, more on the nose, of ripe apple, which fills and accompanies the palate for a long time; the final in the mouth, however, returns to be lashing and gritty.
Variety: 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Nero
After the vinification of batches of grapes already identified in the vineyard for the subsequent destination to brut (cru), the cuvee is made in the following spring: given by an assembly with a percentage from 5 to 10% of wine passed for six months in barriques and liquer de tirage. After a minimum refinement period of 37 months from the harvest, disgorgement takes place; subsequently the bottle is dressed and undergoes a refinement of six months before being marketed.
Bottled by Monzio Compagnoni farm, Adro (BS), Italy.
13% vol, 75 cl.
